    Gemma joined the practice in October 2007 after several years working in a small animal practice in Wales. Gemma particularly likes to be involved with nursing our surgical patients. She is responsible for managing our insurance claims.

  • Franki Specht

    Registered Veterinary Nurse

    Franki joined the practice in August 2002, studying and qualifying as a veterinary nurse subsequently. She is a qualified nurse assessor. She enjoys all aspects of medicine. With years of experience with her own family of pets she is particularly skilled in nursing smaller animals such as rabbits, guinea pigs and other rodents. Franki runs our puppy party classes at Meopham on a Monday.

    Naomi is our Head Veterinary Nurse at the Sevenoaks branch. Naomi qualified in August 2013, having started working for The Meopham Veterinary Hospital in 2009. She is particularly keen on developing the medical nursing at The Sevenoaks Surgery. In her spare time Naomi is a keen horsewoman looking after seven Arabs, but still finds the time to care for her 5 cats and 2 dogs at home.

    Vicki joined the Meopham team in 2008, qualifying as a registered Veterinary Nurse in 2010. Vicki is one of our night nurses at the practice.  Vicki has a keen interest in exotic patients and emergency/intensive care and is studying for a certificate in emergency and critical care nursing.  

    Outside of work Vicki enjoys gardening, weight liftting and looking after her own family of animals : Jack Russel Terriers Akkarin and Rosie, Arnie the cat and three beautiful bearded dragons.

  • Hannah Webster

    Hannah joined the practice in 2011 and has been in small animal practice for 7 years. She has a keen interest in small animal care and endoscopy. She enjoys teaching others and will start mentoring some of our student nurses later this year. Hannah also enjoys nurse clinics and has taken on an active role to encourage clients to attend our free nurse clinics at the Hospital. Hannah is one of our night nurses. She owns a house rabbit called Harry who is her pride and joy. Hannah is currently looking into further education to specialise in rabbit anaesthesia and critical care.

  • Kerry Gulliver

    Kerry has worked at the surgery since October 2000. She has spent time working at both an out of hours emergency service and at the Royal Veterinary College to gain further specialist knowledge. Kerry has recently changed roles and is working in the office alongside the rest of our admin team.  Outside of work Kerry enjoys running and is always kept busy with her two young sons.

  • Tracey Percival

    Tracey joined the team in March 2007. She is a qualified nurse assessor. Tracey can frequently be seen running nurse clinics. Outside of the hospital, Tracey is busy raising a young family but loves to dance in her spare moments.

  • Jenny Lawrenson

    Jenny joined the surgery in 2007 and has since trained as a Veterinary Nurse and qualified in January 2010. She is the Head Nurse of all three practices and is very interested in surgical nursing. Jenny has recently completed a diploma in canine behaviour management. She is also a clinical coach helping our trainee nurses with their college work.

  • Amy Healey

    Amy joined the practice in September 2013 having previously worked in another Small Animal Practice for 2 years. She qualified in January 2015 as a Registered Veterinary Nurse and has recently qualified as a canine hydrotherapist.  Amy now runs our hydrotherapy treadmill sessions here at The Meopham veterinary Hospital alongside her nursing duties.  Amy's main interests are theatre and rehabilitation.

    In her spare time Amy enjoys holidays abroad and walks with her dalmation 'Crystal'.

  • Katie Piper

    Katie joined the Meopham Veterinary Hospital as a student in September 2012.

    In July 2015 she qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse from the College of Animal welfare and she now runs our busy theatres.

    In her spare time Katie enjoys horse riding and playing tennis.

  • Sophie Dunk

    Sophie started working with us in September 2014, as a student, after compelting a zoology degree at The University of Nottingham.  Sophie qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in 2016 from The College of Animal Welfare and is currently one of our inpatient nurses with a keen interest in medical nursing and behaviour.

    In her spare time Sophie loves to ski, go to music festivals and she also plays hockey for Gravesend Ladies hockey club.

  • Frankie Beorby

    Frankie joined the practice in 2013, having previously worked at another practice as a trainee nurse for 3 years. Frankie enjoys the surgical side of nursing, especially orthopaedics and is interested in the rehabilitation of each patient.  

    Frankie has recently passed her level 3 veterinary nursing diploma and is looking forward to assisting Amy at The Meopham Veterinary Hospital in the hydrotherapy department. 

    In her spare time she loves eventing her horse Blazey around the country!

  • Sarah Hall

    Sarah joined the practice in April 2013 after having worked in animal care for two years. She was previousley at the RSPCA Leybourne Animal Centre where she worked closely with the practice.

    Sarah has recently passed her level 3 veterinary nursing diploma.

  • Emily Liquorish

    Registered Veterinary Nurse

    Emily recently graduated from Anglia Ruskin University Cambridge with a First Class Honours Degree in Veterinary  Nursing and Applied Animal Behaviour. She is a keen surgical and inpatient nurse but has a special interest in  Emergency and Critical Care which she hopes to one day qualify in further.

    In her spare time Emily enjoys yoga and has a passion for travel, which she hopes to one day combine with her 
    love of nursing as a volunteer abroad.
